Our story
Damselfly Travel was born from a genuine attachment to Panama, its contrasts and the richness of human encounters. A simple desire: to offer another way to discover the country — closer to the ground and local realities.
The agency was founded in Panama City, after several years spent traveling through Central America and the Caribbean. Over time, exchanges with local residents and stakeholders made it possible to build a solid network, both in Panama and in neighboring Colombia. From these connections grew a project: to design bespoke trips, conceived as genuine experiences of discovery and sharing, away from standardized itineraries.
Today, Sophie personally guides travelers through the creation of their itinerary. Attentive to each person's desires, pace, and expectations, she designs balanced journeys that blend nature, culture, and authentic encounters. Her approach is grounded in hands-on knowledge of the destination and a commitment to showcasing Panama as it is truly lived—through its landscapes and the people who inhabit them.

Yes, as much as possible. Changes made more than 30 days before departure are generally free of charge (excluding hotel rate differences). As your departure approaches, some bookings become less flexible — we always inform you of your options before confirmation.
